Podcast – #1 ‘I can’t believe it’s not Akira’

Hi Everyone,

Finally after many false starts I have finally got the podcast up and running.

In this first episode Lewis and I review a couple of 80’s staples that adorned many anime VHS collections in the 90’s; Odin – Photon Space Sailor Starlight and Lensman.

Listening back there are few things I would have done differently but seeing this was our first podcast we’re both pretty happy with and we can build on it for future podcasts.

I hope you enjoy the show and we’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

You can email us at ian@retroanimepodcast.com and follow us on twitter @retroanime.

You can find the podcast of PodOmatic, Soundcloud, iTunes and Stitcher by searching for Retro Anime Podcast or listen directly on the player at the top of the post.

Thanks for listening,

Ian

Nice! Heard the reccomend on Dan & Ben’s “Streampunk” and listened right away. I’ve been looking for an in-roads to anime lately, so this sounded about right. Good dynamic between the hosts, too. Looking forward to more.

    Best-

      Hi Jp,

Thanks for listening and the positive comments!!

Sorry to reply so late, but I’ve just got back to working on the website. Lewis and I wanted to get the second episode out in October but he got a job in Dublin late September so with the move it has taken some time for him to get sorted but hopefully we’ll be recording in the next couple of weeks now he has settled and got his computer over there and then we’ll get into a regular output of episodes.

Please keep an eye for the second episode and please follow us on Twitter.

      Thanks again,

      Ian
