Hi Everyone, Finally after many false starts I have finally got the podcast up and running. In this first episode Lewis and I review a couple of 80’s staples that adorned many anime VHS collections in the 90’s; Odin – Photon Space Sailor Starlight and Lensman. Listening back there are few things I would have done differently but seeing this was our first podcast we’re both pretty happy with and we can build on it for future podcasts. Welcome to the Retro Anime Podcast. This is a project I’ve been meaning to get off the ground for years, I long enjoyed listening to various podcasts and wanted to have a go myself. I got into anime over 30 years ago without realising it, enjoying shows like Ulysses 31, Battle of the Planets and Starvengers (which started my lifelong fandom of mecha anime) before realising it was Japanese when I first saw Akira in 1991 when Manga Entertainment released it on VHS.
